t’s safe to say the “El” or the “Taco” removes the mystery of the cuisine served at this Mexican resto. Famed for their massive one pound burritos (bring a friend for sharesies), the menus is full of authentic cuisine. Tacos (of course), salads and tortilla soups of great proportions are served at reasonable prices for those Downtowners looking for a budget lunch. Mexican artwork (read Frida Kahlo) is displayed throughout the venue in an attempt to recreate the familiar and identifiable Mexican environment for people who have never actually been to the country. The cuisine can be bland, but plenty of home made salsas are available to spice up your burrito or taco if you need more heat. Muy Caliente!
