hat is it about the neighbourhood pub that makes it a neighbourhood pub? Is it good cheap grub served with a smile from a pretty girl next door type of girl? Is it the coldest beer you’ve ever had massaging its way down your throat as you sit on a stool with your own arse print worn into it? Or is it that good warm feeling you get from the boisterousness of your fellow area folks who have adopted the same place as their second home too? A great neighbourhood pub has that certain something, you know. Coppertank, found in the beer-friendly UBC district of West Broadway has none of these things. Just televisions.

So in an attempt to write an inspired review about an uninspired beer hall, I have composed a song.
