On and on with the details: the nuts at the bar are house roasted and piquant; the furnishings, exposed wooden posts and beams add masculinity; glasses are filled without you noticing; and “Chef” walks among the tables, stopping with hands clasped.

Not much can touch this restaurant. Lumiere may win best overall restaurant time and again, but I suspect that that’s partly because Rob Feenie is more willing to pander to his clientele. Posterero is cut from a decidedly different fabric. He is uncompromising in delivering honest, unpretentious and fabulous food that speaks a universal language. - D.H.
