 an you imagine living in a villa made out of chutney? That would fall apart quite quickly, I would think. Either that or you'd eat it. It would be great if the roof caved in on top of you: you could just eat your way out. Mmmm, chutney roof dinner.
CVSIC has a self-explanatory name: it serves chutney, south Indian style, in a villa-esque atmosphere. Could you have figured that out on your own? Probably. Rounding out the card are the requisite curries and fried, folded goodness. It's even better than eating your house. - S.T. |

Went there with great expectations.... but all in vain, pethetic food,no taste ,chicken 65 was stale and presented to us on a plate with stale onions. Overall a very bad experience.

The only Vancouver restaurant where you can get authentic and tasty south indian food. Many uniquely South Indian items in the menu and the weekend meals served on banana leaf a la Tamilnadu is a treat. Great food, great value and friendly service. I will definitely go back!

I am a south Indian from India. Eating at Chutneyvilla is like eating my grandmother's food. Sooooo Yummy.
Owner Chindi is very friendly and the home made array of chutnies are amazing
