There's something oddly soothing about a trendy place that eschews typical trend totems. The crowd is an amalgam of post-school kids, white-collar types, incognito celbs, and a smattering of VIPs, mishmashing, cavorting, occasionally dry humping, and always pint pounding. It's snake-free fun with charms (lucky and not) and all the potatoes you can eat (not really). – R.B.

Still appalled at the horrible customer service here. When we first sat down to meet my brother there and all he had were complaints about the luke warm food and slow service we should have walked out right then and there, but no we tried to give the place another chance and stay for a drink. To our shock, my brother then also told us that he was one of the first people at the pub that night and there was literally 'crap' on the bathroom floor that hadn't been cleaned up from the night before. Ok, mental note to self, don't eat here.

Once we got home, we unfortunately realized we had forgotten my husband's bag at the restaurant underneath our table. We live 40 mins out from downtown so called the restaurant to see if they could just grab the bag and tuck it behind the bar before anybody else discovered it. To our shock, we were hung up on 3 times because they were simply too busy, to send somebody up for 5 mins to grab it or to even connect us to the phone at the top bar. Ok fine, so we sent a friend who lives nearby to grab the bag for us. He was rudely stopped by the bouncer at the door and chastized that his friend must be an idiot to send another guy to get his bag and actually wouldn't let him up to just go check for the bag!

When there's a thousand other restaurants and pubs in Vancouver that would actually have the courtesy to treat a paying customer with gratitude, you can bet I'll never set foot in this place again and I advise you don't either.
