  • Bogarts Chop House and Bar

    Scott Tavener
Bogart was a man; and men, according to plaid-and-John-Wayne media, like meat. Bogarts Chop House, a steak and chop joint of the candle, wine, and settle-in ilk, is one of the finest of its kind in Vancouver. With live Jazz and a martini-heavy drink card, this house accommodates both romantic encounters and friend-and-bullshit nights out. Bonus: fun with verbs: "please don't Bogart that chop." You can use it, I don't mind. - S.T.

We've been going to Bogart's for probably 4 years now and continue to just love it. When they took the appetizer of brie with carmelized onions off the menu plus the creme brulee we were soooooooooooo disappointed and didn't return for quite some time. BUT during our last visit (just a couple months ago) they were both back on the menu. The requests for their return was so great Bogart's felt compelled to satisfy their customers!!! Thank goodness - they are both such a treat - you need to try either or both!
The music is great - it's background so you can actually talk to the people you are with without yelling!
I would recommend this place to everyone!
