riginally called Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Assam, Goa, and Others Sweets, AIS wisely chose to expand its horizons and shorten its name to the less-apropos, but more pleasing, All India Sweets. With a belt destroying vegetarian buffet, this massive Main Street restaurant draws crowds of hubristic eaters and their all-you-can-eat bravado. AIS's ample offerings have vanquished many a gastro glutton. Naturally and in spite of the name, do not expect West Indian food; you're just being ridiculous. - S.T.
