The Black Rider :: Oct. 15 - Nov. 16
 om Waits, Williams S. Burroughs, and Robert Wilson originally created this dark expressionistic operetta in 1990. With names like that on the playbill, you know that there won’t be an uplifting moral or any sort of conventional music or theatrical presentation. None of the original creators are involved with this production (Burroughs’ death was a bit of a setback in this regard), but Tom Waits has given it his gravel-voiced stamp of approval. If you’ve never seen it before, get ready for a truly unique and unforgettable experience. – P.B.
Tickets are $10 - $32 @ Tarragon Theatre
Tarragon Theatre, 30 Bridgman Avenue, Toronto, ON
