The December Man :: Apr. 10 – May 17
  olleen Murphy is a playwright of substance who has won a Governor General’s Award, but this may represent the most difficult subject matter that’s she’s tackled to date. The December Man is Murphy’s theatrical rendition of the infamous 1989 massacre at Montreal’s Ecole Polytechnique. The shooting is a painful tragedy that must be handled with care as the subject matter of a dramatic work. But if anyone can pull off the balancing act it’s Murphy. –P.B.
