rendan Gall’s Alias Godot is a reworking of Samuel Beckett’s timeless masterpiece. Gall recasts Vladamir and Estragon as hardedge cops interrogating the infamous Godot. Expect endless metaphysical musings and plenty of pithy dialogue exchanges. There’s no denying that this play by theatre snobs that will only appeal to other theater snobs…but good god will they ever go nuts for it. They’ll be giggling to themselves for hours afterwards and openly disgusted about all the philistines out there who don’t get the in jokes. –P.B.
