Ponton Fireplace

 veryone loves fire. How could you not? Creating fire was one of humanity’s finest inventions. It gave us warmth, introduced cooking, and was our first television. The only problem with fire is that whole “easily spreading” thing. There’s not getting around the fact that it’s not particularly fun to have your house burn down just because you’re cold and want to see the gentle flicker of a raging flame. Fortunately the good people at Wolf Udo Wagner have come up with a wonderful solution for this tragic problem: the Ponton Fireplace.
The Poton Fireplace is a portable bio-alcohol based fireplace that that can burn for 1.5 – 2.5 hours. Because it runs off of alcohol, there are minimal CO2 omissions so it’s completely safe for use indoors. Sure, it’ll work for outdoor camping as well, but this is primarily for the urban pyromaniac who wants to enjoy the sweet dance of lady flame without being arrested again. The Ponton is made out of tempered glass and stainless steal giving it a slick modern look and <--quote#left--> only has an overall diameter is 30 cm or 11.8″ and a height of 40 cm or 15.7″. This means that it can be the centerpiece of a room without taking up too much space and can be easily tucked away once the fire party is over (but make sure that the fire is out before you store it…don’t make the same mistake I made).
The days of having to venture into the disgusting and sadly internet porn free woods just to have a camp fire are over. Now you can finally roast wieners and marshmallows over an open flame at home. You won’t believe how much better s’mores taste when there aren’t small insects inadvertently melted into the chocolate. It’s time to reignite your passionate love for fire.
