Organic eco-lovers will be happy to hear that Aveda is rolling out a new product in March that will leave gents with a smoother, healthier head of hair. The latest addition to the Aveda Men collection is Aveda Men Pure-formance Exfoliating Shampoo, is a weekly shampoo that cleans the hair of excess oil and product buildup, while simultaneously exfoliating the scalp.

As with any Aveda product, the focus is on botanicals: seaweed extracts calm the hair while tamanu oil restores natural moisture. Sage oil acts as an astringent and delivers powerful antioxidant properties, while crushed walnut shell and jojoba beads act as exfoliants that deliver a massage-like experience to the scalp. Available in March at Aveda stores, spas and salons near you for $28.
Our last product may not be new, but it’s definitely back and better revived than ever. The kitschy hamburger phone that was featured in the indie-film hit, Juno, has exploded in popularity after being seen in the paws of precocious Halifax actress, Ellen Page . Talkative teens and oh-so-cutting-edge hipsters have been hitting up eBay with fervent regularity, in hopes of snagging one of the beef-filled phones at a good price.

Many attribute its fame to the growing appeal of vintage goods, especially those like lava lamps and fluorescent clothes that hark back to the 80s. It’s been compared to the Toy Story phenomenon, which made toys like Mr. Potato Head and the Slinky popular amongst those who had grown up with them (or just after their time.) Despite hamburger phones being awkward to talk into, as Juno herself pointed out in the movie, you’ll be the talk of the town (pun not intended) if you have one. Get online and get searching, because Fox hasn’t been clever enough to re-brand them as their own – yet. In the meantime, head to eBay or search around online to find one for yourself.
