  ailing away for over 50 years, the Toronto International Boat Show has become the go-to for everything boating. With over 1500 boats showcasing the latest engines, electronics, marine gifts and accessories—both the fisherman and the athlete will be enticed. The 9-day event plays host to a variety of events like free rides, wakeboard demo's, canoeing, kayaking, and even windsurfing---all on the world's largest indoor lake. In times where ever shiver is annoying it is calming to know the water is still near, and clear. Dedicated boaters will appreciate the authentic exhibits and expert advice. For every boating inquisition there are professionals ready to lend their knowledge all while enjoying a little spin or two around the lake. So instead of taking lessons from the hills of Hollywood, make the trip to the DEC and start rigging. To take full advantage of the event I suggest the $25 unlimited weekday/evening pass. -K.K
