  t's hard to believe Circa is already a year old. This is no ordinary anniversary. Peter Gatien had to endure many many SNAFUs on the way to opening the mega-club, everything from his shaky reputation to the rejection of a liquor license. For years it seemed like the place would never open.
But in its short year of existence, it has already become the most popular club in Toronto and one of the prime destinations for DJs, rappers, and exclusive VIP parties. The behemoth venue is celebrating with all of the above. October 9th will be an invite-only VIP Party, October 10th will be a performance by Lupe Fiasco, October 11th brings Dave Dresden and DJ Whoo Kid, and October 12th is Roger Sanchez, Victor Calderone and John Acquaviva. - R.T.
