    As an adolescent, you and your friends puffed on Century Sams, furtively coughing and drying your eyes. You sipped borrowed wine while your parents quizzically slugged water from cellar bottles. Now, you're a grown-up (well, sort of), and you don't have to resort to clandestine nights out in schoolyards and musty basements.

    An evening of steak eating, cigar sucking, plethoric wine tasting, burlesque watching, and myriad other XY activities, Boys Night Out brings man-sized boys and their affectation-free hobbies back to the Distillery District. Hosted by Sun TV's Tara Sloane and featuring a guest-list dotted with former NHL-ers, expect libation-aided mingling with familiar faces.

    Last year’s event, attended by over 500 guests, raised $30 000 for prostate cancer research at Princess Margaret Hospital. Get alpha-altruistic. -S.T.
