Toronto Galleries
n exhibit by Glynis Humphrey that will completely freak you out but is also fun at the same time. There are huge inflatable white glow-in-the-dark balls, some on the ground, some hanging in the air and some you can jump on. They are equipped with speakers to make water noises. The balloons that hang give off pulses as well so when you sit underneath them it actually feels like you are underwater. There is a video projection of a woman just floating around struggling with the fact that she's underwater. There is much more, but the basic idea is that you are supposed to feel like you are underwater when you aren't. Sometimes just chillin', sometimes drowning, and probably sometimes wondering why you are there when you could just head over to the local YMCA and do the real thing.
