Toronto Galleries
wo artists are taking over the Blackwood Gallery with their exuberant works. Etienne Zack, an artist from Montreal is showing nine paintings he did over a six year time period. He became well-known throughout the world for his ridiculous and bizarre stuff. Check it out-some of the things he has painted are levitating door mats, mustard containers squirting out mustard, Styrofoam, cardboard boxes, and much much more insanity than I can list here. Jesse Jones is showing a 12 minute film called The Spectre and the Sphere which is based on Karl Marx's Manifesto. A whirlwind of heavy political, creative, musical and artsy insanity-make sense? Didn't think so.
