Toronto Galleries
'm not going to lie,. I've never understood the strong reputation of the Group Of Seven. What is so amazingly original about Canadian artists deciding to paint landscapes? I don't get it. I think they just got popular because of the catchy name. That said, if you're not a bitter Group Of Seven hater like me you'll probably enjoy this exhibition at the Evergreen Cultural Centre. Over 30 oil sketches have been pulled out of the Vancouver Art Gallery for this show. You'll have more Group of Seven overwhelming your sense than you ever dreamed possible.PB
Evergreen Cultural Centre, 1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam, BC
