Toronto Galleries
tay Awhile is a group of oil paintings that look like they could be photographs gone wrong; the image is completely blurred and she clearly uses a diffuse and painterly approach to representation meaning, you can't really ever know exactly what she's trying to show you because she's making it difficult to understand on purpose. Her images seem like female figures potentially nude but t is all in a blur, as if a moment passed you by so swiftly, the memory is nothing more than a smudge in time. M.K.
