Toronto Galleries
veryone knows Liberty Village is where all the artists roam free, painting to their little creative hearts' delight in their vast lofts, or visiting one of the many galleries. This swarming Toronto area's art festival is like Church and Wellesley's Pride parade a necessary element of the culture and life of the neighbourhood. The festival showcases all kinds of art media, from paintings and sculpture to woodworking, photography and pen-and-ink drawing; although they don't discriminate against art forms, they only allow those living in Liberty Village to showcase their work, which makes sense since the point of the festival is to showcase local art.
