Toronto Galleries
his photographer has waited a long time to show off his photos from the time he spent in Provence in the 1950s – and these aren't just any old vacation pictures either. It seems it was well-worth the wait because Toni Harting's vintage black and white candid shots of people and places (but mostly people) are enchanting – he caught people so in-the-moment that one picture could be a whole film. He even has a picture of Pablo Picasso close up and personal. These photos are truly moving and flawless to the extent that its hard to believe that he just shot these snapshots as life was going on and there wasn't a group of hired people posing models and arranging a set. This is the real deal. – M.K.
