Toronto Galleries
 here will be works by Dennis Ekstedt and Lisa Neighbour. Ekstedt does paintings of city lights, and lighting and shiny flashy stuff. Neighbour's stuff is from her ongoing project called Last Words.
"For most of our lives, death is a vague prospect in the distant future. Even so, death composes the shadows in a brightly lit world. The moment of death is probably too big to imagine, and too small to talk about. The context in which a person's last words are recorded can make them sound both poignant and absurd. I've played with the idea of writing some last words, and I admit that I'm stumped. It's possible that a last image would be preferable to words." -Lisa Neighbour
