    O'Sullivans Restaurant and Bar
Two words: Party Karaoke! Every Saturday and Sunday O’ Sullivans hosts a slop fest of (drunk) karaoke for the legal crowd ensuring your kids won’t be there to witness the antics that will predictably ensue. The usual neighbourhood pub night specials are available throughout the week such as Wing Night Mondays (be sure to keep a steady glass of brew consistently on hand). The restaurant serves the usual pub fare from an extensive menu of fresh, in-house prepared cuisine. With over twenty years in the pub biz, you can rest assured this environment will relax you after a rough day at work, entertain with a great pool table and some friendly bets (or not-so-friendly), and help you share your vocal talents among friends with the wild weekend karaoke nights. -E.J.

    Ship & Anchor
The nautical theme of this pub might signal to some an East Coast pub, but all the fun is had in tricking the newbies. Portraits of gruff sailors who undoubtedly have the requisite anchor tattoo, adorn the walls in hopes of inspiring beer-guzzling patrons to hold their booze like a man, or else sink like an anchor into a sea of drunken stupor (which could be fun). If you find your belly a-swelling and the familiar nautious vibe of seasickness overwhelming, there’s a menu of tasty pub dinners and snacks to soak up the alcohol and restore you to a reasonably semi-conscious state. The patio also helps to provide fresh air when the claustrophobia sets in (if the weather is seasonable). A well-practice “Yar!” is mandatory before entry. - E.J.

    Sugo
Intimate and comfortable, this sweet little Italian restaurant presents rustic favourites like gnocci, halibut and of course, pizza. They have fresh menus daily, customized by the chef. Romantic but casual, the restaurant is great for a sit-down dinner with a partner or a group meal with friends. They have an extensive wine list and brews so it’s not uncommon to see patrons sitting at the bar enjoying a nice glass of red or a chilled brew. –A.C
