    Element Hotel

Location: 558 Front Street West, Toronto, ON

If you're planning on coming to Toronto for business next year, be prepared to be blown away by this impending hotel. The Element Hotel chain is opening their first ever location outside of the USA and it's coming to the GTA (I guess they want to stick to three letter acronyms). Element Hotels thrive on being luxurious and comfortable, but also functional for the business traveler. Sure there will be pools, room service, and a bar on site to distract the road-wary guests, but each room will also come with a large desk designed to accommodate any computer or electronic equipment (legal or otherwise). The lobby and public spaces will be filled with floor to ceiling windows and calming music to encourage relaxation before and after big meetings. The building will also feature 700 square feet of meeting space, an integrated technology center, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and cafe seating where a complimentary breakfast will be served daily. Realistically, there is nothing you could possibly want while visiting Toronto for business that Element will not provide and if they don't have something you're looking for greasing the palms of some employees should take care of your concerns pretty quickly. As an added bonus, the hotel is being constructed on the same property as an ultra-trendy Aloft, so you can always sneak off and party with the young folks if you get bored with the business-centric setting. Sometimes a man's gotta eat, no matter how much work there is to be done.—PB
