Location: Yonge & Dundas
veryone has been trying not to watch the ever looming eyesore that is finishing off the hideous Times Square wannabe, Dundas Square. This week two confirmations came through as to what establishments will be occupying the new north east corner of Yonge and Dundas called Toronto Life Square. A Jack Astor’s and a Milestones will be setting up shop in the flashy tourist trap. As long as they continue to play free movies in the square on warm summer nights, I’ll forgive them, but if that ever stops, there will be hell to pay. Haven’t they ever heard of conserving energy? With four building walls of outdoor big screens it certainly doesn’t seem like it. Jack Astor’s will also be taking over the old Brasserie Frisco at John and Richmond. Woo. Hoo. –J.T. | | |
