    Location: 42 Yonge, Toronto, ON

Toronto’s Richtree Market restaurant is out, and Mövenpick Marché is in. Richtree has closed its Yonge and Wellington location (actually, all locations) earlier this week, and all that is left is a papered over store-front. But Mövenpick Marché will return to the space at the corner of Yonge and Wellington Streets (42 Yonge, Toronto), tentatively in June. Mövenpick has had a story relationship with Richtree, which resulted in Richtree properties taking over the Mövenpick locations. Back in the early ‘90s, Mövenpick had several locations - Yonge and Wellington, Bay street location (where The Keg is now) and a Yorkville restaurant where Ciao is now. But with Mövenpick owners Jorg and Marian Reichert long separated from Richtree, they made the announcement to open new ten new restaurants in Toronto (but since has been changed to six) through the course of the year. Looks like they have their locations sitting in their hands. - KT
