Location: 370 King Street West and Pearson Airport, Toronto, ON

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts already has a big presence in Toronto – during the Toronto International Film Festival the Park Hyatt in Yorkville is swarmed by celebrities and celebrity-stalkers – but it's about to multiply. Come 2010, Hyatt Regency will have not one, but two new locations in The Big Smoke.

The first, located at 370 King Street West, has recently opened. The other Hyatt Regency will take a little while longer to open since it has yet to be built. Located at Pearson Airport, the hotel will be 12-stories and will be part of a new 15-acre mixed-use complex overlooking the Royal Woodbine Golf Course. It'll be designed by Zeidler Partnership Architects (designers of the Eaton's Centre) and, as the times dictate, it will meet LEED standards for environmental sustainability. Those used to ho hum business hotels at the airport will have to forget their preconceptions, because Hyatt Regency Toronto Airport will definitely be built for luxury. - R.T. with S.T.

Park Hyatt Toronto Airport will open summer 2010.
