his Kensington fixture began in the late ‘50s as the brainchild of Tom Mihalik, carrying on the retail menswear tradition started by his father. Tom’s showman personality has never disappeared from his business and even today he has a hand in most of the store’s sales. Although there are price tags on the suits, the prices are far from final. No sale is complete until you’ve haggled with Tom and got him to throw in an extra tie or free tailoring. Just don’t tell him I told you that.
Tom himself travels to Europe and the US to keep up on all the latest trends and delivers them at much lower prices. If you want to feel like you’re buried in Kensington history, look no further my friend.
