Although an industrial space teeming with a collection of both men and women's underwear could easily set the stage for a perverted criminal, in this particular case the setting is innocuous, even, I would say, boldly au current. Today, Calvin Klein opens the doors of its new concept boutique, a modern retelling of the same old story: you have to wear underwear, so do it in style.

Of late, with labels like Hanky Panky, Cosabella, and Commando, designer women's underwear have become a wardrobe essential as necessary as a pair of good black pumps. But men's underwear hasn't followed the lead of this trend, until now. Though the new Calvin Klein underwear boutique does carry a beautiful selection of seamless and silky women's intimates; the new focus is definitely on the men.

It seems Mr. Klein is having a little fun with the new Perfectly Fit Evolution line. No longer sticking to his classic boxer-brief pallet of whites, greys and blacks, the new store marks a metamorphosis in men's underwear. Bright pink briefs, kelly green boxer-briefs, even leopard prints boldly line the rows of acrylic rods on the store's walls in a strange display of masculine wonderment.
