    Andy-The-Anh - Ladieswear in Toronto

Andy-The-AnhThe first Toronto flagship boutique for Andy Thê-Anh has opened and is ready to make a big splash in our fair city. The Vietnamese Canadian designer behind the label has made a quite a name for himself in the last seven or eight years, impressing everyone at the World Fashion Awards and winning the 2006 Fashion Export Award.

He's already taken the fashion media by storm and he's dominated fashion in Montreal, where, until now, his label's only retail outlets have existed. But now his empire has extended to the Mecca of high fashion in Canada. I'm talking, of course, about Yorkville.

Carrying his latest creations, the store aims to bring inventive style to Torontonians with the latest runway-ready styles and other fashions for everyday women's wear. Flirty ruffles and attention to detail is what makes Andy’s clothing stand out from the crowd of more traditional, international labels. When you see the ANDY label appear on the dresses of many women in the more fashionable parts of the city, you'll know the store has truly arrived. Just wait, it'll happen. - R.T.
