panish women's fashion chain, Mango, has begun its expansion into North America with the opening of a store in Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Eaton Centre and Sherway Gardens. Mango plays with layering a lot, offering transparent blouses to be worn under cardigans. The muted light colours and elementary lines prevail. The collection pays homage to the gypsy chic with metallic embroidered arabesques and crocheting. Aged metal rules in accessories and jewellery. Gipsy part plays with shiffon in oversize matching bikini tops in Roberto Cavalli way.
The design of the store is slick and contemporary, but not in a cheap way when you go for white and throw in some metal hangers. The Mango store has wide windows, hardwood floors and shockingly alive mannequins make the shopping for a colourful tee a rich experience.
