'Center' is really the wrong word to describe this joint - an institution for all things culinary. A better description might be 'Calphalon Culinary Extravaganza!! What started as a family-run business in 1960 has become a culinary mainstay offering everything from kitchen accessories to recipes and tips on how not to burn that white sauce (use a whisk, stir often, thanks mom).

I haven't even started on the cooking classes. Priced at between $70 -$130, the center offers a cooking class for just about every type of cuisine and also takes advantage of the season's ripe offerings. Here are just a few: Butchering & Braising, Chicken 101, Cooking with Cheese, Duck Deluxe, Fall Desserts, etc.
