Did you see it? No…oh. Well, to be fair we’re talking about maybe a second of footage total. First there’s the image of Harvey Dent having half of his body laid out in a puddle of gasoline (if set on fire it would burn half of his body...hmmmm). Then there is a split-second image of Harvey holding a gun against his face with distinct singes visible around the edges of his profile. Sure these observations are minute and moderately obsessive, but I write for the internet. It’s my job to point this stuff out damn it!
After the geeks wet themselves over that trailer, this still appeared on moive websites before instantly being removed by the Warner Brothers (normally a definitive sign that something is legit). It appears to be a make-up test for Two-Face, with graphically realistic burn make-up that would feel appropriate in a horror film. There is certainly no doubt that Two-Face will appear in the movie now. It’s all but a guarantee. Today, Warner released the first footage of Two-Face through their fake Joker website (click here for the teasing glimpse). While barely anything can be seen in this scene, it at least confirms that the character will be alive and kicking in the movie, rather than merely introduced in the final scene to set up a sequel. How he will appear in the movie is an unanswered question…however, I have a theory.
