Let's just come right out and say it: the reggae scene in Miami pretty much…well sucks! But once in a while a true reggae superstar blows through town and all you reggae-heads gotta catch the opportunity to see the show. Jamaican born Beres Hammond has been around for over 30 years and has had many influential and spectacular chart toppers over the years. He is still going as strong as ever and there are some pretty cool openers too. Don't miss out on some primo reggae because, unless they make a reality television show, you never know when the next reggae superstar will show up. Beres Hammond, Miami FL, Friday, July 03, 2009, James L. Knight Center
