New Comedy Trailers Make The Internet Funny Again
Page 4 of 4
While the footage is clearly a collection of improvs and/or outtakes from a single scene in the movie, it certainly establishes a tone of lighthearted vulgarity that should perfectly suit both director and star. The other exciting element is the obvious use of improvisation found in the footage. Smith is writer/director who is notorious for forcing his actors to stick to his screenplay religiously. While Smith's command of dialogue is so strong that this request is reasonable, Seth Rogen is a comedian who thrives on improvisation, so making him stick to a screenplay would be denying his strengths. Fortunately, this doesn’t seem to be the case based on the teaser and while it is certainly far too early to predict the quality of the final film, things are looking good.
I've done my good deed for today and spread laughter throughout the internet world. Now it's time for an afternoon dedicated to internet pornography and viral vids...oh, what a life I lead. -P.B. | If you enjoyed this article, you should also check out | | Sex and the City [Full Story] | | Eddie Murphy Is Making Beverly Hills Cop 4 [Full Story] | | Sharon Stone Banned From China [Full Story] | | R.I.P.
