    Movie Preview: Wall-E

Pixar movies are one of the few constants in Hollywood. While diligently attending summer blockbusters can often feel like playing a game of Russian roulette (The Love Guru blew my brains out just last weekend), Pixar never disappoints (Cars barely gets a pass, but it gets a pass nonetheless). Last summer Brad Bird released Ratatouille which was undeniably one of the greatest animated films ever made and the best reviewed movie of 2007. That film is a tough act to follow, but on paper Wall-E seems capable holding its own. Obviously it is impossible to accurately predict if the movie will be any good until it is finally released on Friday, but it is hard to imagine this movie being a failure. Just watch this trailer and try to not feel moved and desperate to see the final project.

What did I tell ya? God bless Pixar.–PB, News Extensions
