Josh Brolin Arrested During The W. Shoot
According to a report from the Shreveport Police, officers were called to the Stray Cat bar just after 2:00am to deal with a rowdy patron. As more and more officers began to arrive in the bar other well-lubricated customers (including Brolin and Wright) attempted to step in and help the rowdy drunk who at one point was surrounded by 10 police officers. Brolin had to bail himself out with a modest sum of $334 as did most of the other arrestees. However, one crewmember (it's unclear if he was the initial cause of the disturbance) ended up forking over $752 to get out of jail.
No one from the police department or the W. crew has commented on the incident in great detail. Detective Rod Demery was the only person involved who has spoken directly to the press and all he had to say was that the department had to deal with drunken bar situations like this one every week and this only difference has been the amount of unnecessary media attention that this case has received (whoops). Everyone involved with the W. production has declined to comment on the incident which is probably a wise decision. However, they would be able to point out the irony that nothing Brolin and co. did could match the true tales of George Bush's drunken debauchery that they have been filming for weeks.
