ithout intending to provoke our hard of hearing brethren, the 24th annual Festival Miami promises "a world of music;" just ask the press release. Like strip clubs to blind people, a world of music is the bane of the deaf, but for everyone else, it's aurally enticing.
From September 29th to November 10th an eclectic range of musicians from all over the world will takeover Miami stages. Selections run the tune gamut from chamber to tango, classical to jazz, Broadway to flamenco, and everything in between.
Expect strings, ivory, and, hopefully, cymbals. Incidentally, going to the fest is way cheaper than actually traveling the world. For information and tickets, visit
