Celebs Are Snubbing Their Spouses And Underpaying Their Maids
aul McCartney was honored with a lifetime achievement award at this year’s Brit Awards and he not only didn’t mention ex-wfie Heather Mills (with whom he is currently engaged in an ugly divorce hearing) during his speech, but ensured that her name was not uttered at any other time during the ceremony. To add insult to injury, McCartney also performed a heartfelt tribute to his late wife Linda. While Paul may not have gotten vocal about his distaste for Mills, Brit Awards host Sharon Osbourne had no problem calling her a “miserable old cow" and said if she showed, she'd "boot her off the stage." That Mrs. Osbourne is such a classy gal.

Elizabeth Hurley and husband Arun Nayar have a bit of cash (and by “a bit” we mean “a shitload”), but that didn’t stop then from paying their Indian maid the paltry sum of $200 a week for hours of cooking, cleaning, and babysitting. Violet D’Souza claims that she was paid as little as $2.33 an hour for up to 70 hours of work per week. Isn’t it heartwarming to know how much Hurley is willing to share? Whether it’s paying her staff or sharing her actor boyfriends with the L.A. ladies of the night, Hurley has no problem spreading the love around.

Seinfeld fans can are about to wet their pants with excitement, because Jason Alexander is going to re-unite with Julia Louis-Drefus’ on her sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine. Oddly enough, Michael Richards was not invited to join in on the reunion. We can’t imagine why.

Executives at Warner Brothers are reportedly upset with director Spike Jonze for his vision of Where The Wild Things Are and might remove him from the project. Apparently, early test screenings are scaring children and making them cry. But they shouldn’t be worried, because a) that’s kind of what the book is about and b) if the leaked test footage is anything to go by, the movie is meant to appeal to adults as much as children. The studio execs should be pleased that they haven’t gotten a crappy rendition of the classic children’s story like the Dr. Suess adaptations and might even end up with a movie that will have a shelf life beyond the opening weekend. And those freaked out kids from the test screenings? They need to grow up.

It has been reported that Rosie O’Donnell reached out to Britney Spears over the past year and offered to let the struggling popstar live in her house. So, when Britney was falling apart only Rosie O’Donnell, Dr. Phil, and the paparazzi were there to help? No wonder she broke down!

Sheryl Crow reportedly told the crowd at a recent concert: "I want to collaborate with Amy [Winehouse] because she's really hot and cool right now. I know one song Rehab was very popular particularly because a lot of young people are in rehab as well. In fact I'm thinking about going. It looks like loads of fun and I know my career will benefit from it." Oh no she didn’t! Too bad it’s not the 90s and no one really listens to what Sheryl Crow has to say anymore.
