In true nauseating star fashion, the most heavily sought-after baby photos made a debut in this month's Vanity Fair. Suri Cruise was born on April 18 this year, but neither Suri nor a published photo ever surfaced. That is until the magazine released their 22-page spread of pictures, which was further promoted on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' baby - and any existence of her - had been kept from the public since her birth in April, prompting energetic rumours. The October issue of the magazine is pushing a spread of 4 1/2-month-old Suri and her parents, featuring a dozen photos captured by Annie Leibovitz.

Before Vanity Fair ousted poor Suri, many had doubted her existence. But now, with a heavily photoshopped baby – or what appears to be different babies in each shot - being heavily promoted, many people don’t know what to think. "She has Kate's lips and eyes," the 44-year-old Cruise says in the magazine interview. Meanwhile, Holmes gushes: "I think she looks like Tom."

Well, actually, she doesn't.
