as a regular of zipperz for the past 3 years, it has to be the friendliest atmosphere i've been in...as a gay man of 42 (out since 17) i've attended many clubs across the country...when my partner and i split after 7 years together, i decided one night to stop in at zippz...i am not fond of going out by myself but felt extremely comfortable within minutes of walking in...people came up and introduced themselves to me, not in a cruisy way, but just to be nice...one of the first people i met that night has been my best buddy for the last 3 years...the piano bar is cozy with couches and a "cheers" style bar...great people on the keys with fun songs to sing along with...the dance club has a spacious dance floor, awesome top 40 and remix tunes, and don't miss retro night...they have become a very popular establishment with lineups often on friday, saturday and always sunday evenings...the staff are terrific and drinks are a good deal...if you haven't been, check it out...everyone is there for a good time...lots of smiles, no attitude, posing etc...my parents have been to zippz with my brother , sister and i several times...they always enjoy themselves ...great special event parties with wonderful buffets...also great karaoke, drag shows and canadian idol...so there you have it...4's across the board...give zipperz a try...thanks for reading...ciao!!! peter
