asi's place is a hip and technicoloured hangout tucked away in relative obscurity. A pastiche of plastic-covered picnic tables and contoured plywood booths rim the exterior amid the central organic garden.

Inside is akin to a 50’s diner with anchored booths along the service counter/kitchen. Here, locals sate themselves with all-day breakfast, four varieties of grilled cheese, salads, and sandwiches, along with the odd Turkish and vegan plate. Though the décor says “greasy spoon” the menu is decidedly not.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sundays from 10am-4pm. They offer an interesting array of breakfast eats, from poached eggs to “Turkish Breakfast,” which includes Turkish bread and your choice of feta, olives, tomatoes, avocado spread, temeph sausage, and Turkish Jams/sausage/cream cheese. Interesting, to say the least.
