Tortilla Flats has comfortably moved into Still lounge. Perfectly situated to capture the ravenous exiting and entering the likes of Funhaus and other area bars, this fluorescently yellow Tex-Mex resto uses the renovated former Duke of Connaught to deliver its famed fajitas, tortillas, combination plates, good margaritas and all things Mex. - A.J.

Not bad, for an old standby. Our food was out far faster than I expected: before we could even finish our first bowl of guac! Fat girls love when this happens, you know?
Fajitas were bomb! There was a ridiculous amount of food and I ate nearly all of it! Woot! My steak was a lot better than her chicken so Im glad that I ordered it. Im a fan of red meat...I wont lie!
My BF wasn't happy with his enchilada because it apparently wasn't melted all the way through. We told him to send it back but apparently it wasn't that bad.
And of course, beer. Lots and lots of beer! Good times.

reasonably priced, but stay away from the black bean soup. it's not soup! it's like black bean dip and the "tang" as they describe it in the menu is an over-dose of salt.

- Ups -
* Good guacamole
* Great atmosphere
* fair service and attention to detail
* Inexpensive
* For Torontonians: Tortilla Flats is piped in via Queen West
- Downs -
* flimsy fajitos are mediocre and fall apart when you bite into them
* Hard to find a table at lunch
The owners of Tortilla Flats noticed that the burrito market was pretty-much saturated in Toronto, and sorely lacking in these parts.
What they came up with is a quick, no-frills taco spot that serves fairly good fare, but no real zeitgeist.

Delicious american style fajitos. Fairly cheap and very flavorful. I would be down with less guac...next time...next time

This restaurant has great mexican food if you have a craving, but I wouldn't recommend the desserts. The drinks are quite large and a little pricey. Overall, I always come back for more. The new location is not as nice, but the food is the same. I give it three stars. Mmm... Mexican food!!

The food is delicious, but the Fajita combo for Two is definately not worth the price of $30. You don't get enough for two people. They skimp on the rice & beans & the meat. You're probably better off ordering the Fajita for one instead.
