The plan for The Session is to have a different theme each night: bluegrass night on Sundays with guitar virtuoso Mark Roy; singer/songwriter nights on Tuesdays; Comedy Night with Pearson Ross and hosted by Guy Earle on Wednesdays and Thursdays is DJ night. Saturday afternoons - and, really, what’s a pub without the mandatory jamboree sounds of Irish Celtic music - is hosted by Michael O’Grady. Friday and Saturday nights are open format. Expect the unexpected. – J.B.

First off - why does it smell like a pool? When your nose gets used to the bad smell you then can enjoy The Session. Any bar that plays old school Bowie is tops in my book. Also, its nice to have a variety of beers on tap that do not include hideous Canadian labels - like Blue and Canadian! Did I mention there is actually snacks on the bar? I love to munch on free cheezies! The eccentric owner is a treat to be served by and the cost was very affordable. I will definitly visit again, but I will be packing some Frebreeze!

Thank God the Session has moved into Queen St. West. The hospitality of the Irish owners makes you want to hang out at this charming venue all the time. Last Saturday night saw a meeting of total strangers who were suddenly friends. I have added 4 new numbers to my cell phone and we have agreed to meet back at the Session very soon! Come in for a pint and stay for the warm experience. Only one thing...need more room to dance!
