The bartenders refused to serve us. Not sure if it because we are Black, or because they are jerks. Maybe both.

I went there last night. It got pretty busy, and it took a while to get a drink, but only because the bartenders were so utterly useless and rude.
I asked for a caesar, and the guy so so angry he said, " grerat! I get to make my favourite drink!" all sarcastic like, and made it so spicy it was undrinkable. He then griped when I asked him to top it up with more clamato. He made a lousy drink on purpose so I would not order another one. Great.
Then at 1:50, he and the other lady behind the bar ignored me the entire time, until it was past last call and they would not serve me. It was so blatantly obvious too. Worst bartenders, great music, cool patrons, but I will not be going back!

I've never been there... but I'm glad they kicked the pretentious TV-LA-PR-BS party out... and I love the fact that they did it with thrasher music... LOL

I was not impressed with "The Ossington", their staff or their owner.

We had a TV show Lanch party with a professional P.R. company, Media, charactors, film people, people from L.A. and Montreal and the bar was not providing proper service or the right hospitality to our party.

There was not enough bar staff or the bar staff was too slow for a busy bar and people were waiting an extra long time for drinks.

The bar is way too small for an event and should only be used for their regular nights.

The owner and the staff was not friendly and you could feel that they couldn't wait to get rid of us so they can resume their regular night.

Their wasn't proper security for a TV show lanch party that was invite only. People were just walking right in.

We had the bar for a private party there from 8p.m. - 10 p.m. and it was open to the public after 10 p.m., but everyone wanted to party altogether till late but we had to end up leaving because I thought the owner was really rude.

They played the music really low (like it wasn't even on) because it wasn't their style and when I asked to play it louder the owner said no. He then procceed to Blast Thrasher music to weed us out and told one of the directors of the show (and he came all the way from L.A.) that "His party ended at 10 p.m."

So I had to get tell everyone we should go somewhere else. Some of our friends went back to their hotel because that was too much of a hastle to go anywhere else, so that pissed me off that he split up the party too early.

So I deffinitly won't recomend anyone to have a private party or lanch party here unless they love Thrasher Music, because they won't compromise for you and make you feel welcome there if you're not.
