The Hideout's tone should evolve as it carves out its niche (and the emptied Jagermeister bottles finally fill the plate racks in the "library"), though scattered bouts of Norah Jones and DJ-no-show U2 iPod shuffles plague the soundtrack. Also, noise complaints have dampened band volume, prompting the query: how mellow can a rock spot get before it devolves into Hard-Rock-Café culinary camp?
On the bright side, a celebrity rocker's raucous birthday soirée earned raves from all attendees with the food garnering particular praise, proving that the kitchen can rise to an occasion (or a crowd can happily drink enough to make culinary quibbles vanish). – D.R.

9 Reader Reviews | Sorry Dudes... Food was amazing after waiting 2 hours... only enough menu's 4 one table & we had to wait until they were done until we could even get to order... then the bleach mop came out behind us and we had just started eating.... GROSS. Sorry, I really wanted it to be amazing... Oh- The server got our bill wrong because he was "too busy" doing shots behind the bar @ 9.30pm.

I went to the hideout with some buddies of mine for a birthday. It was a Friday and not really busy when we got there. The drinks are cheap and the place is comfortable. Things were going well and we were having a good time until it got a little busier. The bar was full but not busy and suddenly it took 10 minutes to get a drink! IT WASNT EVEN THAT BUSY! My buddies and I took care of the bartender but the favour wasnt returned once there were 10 people at the bar so we took a seat in the dining area expecting to get served by a server. We were wrong. No server and no service at the bar. I don't understand how things went from great to garbage in a matter of minutes. The bartender who started to serve us but then decided we weren't worth her time looked old and partied out which seems to be a common quality amongst the bartenders there. Only been there 4-5 times and won't be going back which sucks because I like the place but the service is too slow if you're not friends with someone there even if you tip well.

if you want to be irish for one night or several nights in a row the Good boys will take care of you from start to FINISH, these lads take care of you like its your fucking birthday everytime you walk through the door, so if you want great service and cold drinks, well if you want a warm beer i'm sure they could accomadate you as well by microwaving or purhaps boiling your beverage, they're good that way too; what you want is what you get, at the bar known as the hideout.

Just had dinner at The Hideout and LOVED everything about it. The food and service were great. I got to tell you I love the relaxing atmosphere and lack of pretense. After dinner we sat at the bar to finish our drinks and actually met a bartender who was both friendly and knowledgable. They band started playing and we ending up dancing the whole night! It's been a long time since I've been to a place that actually isn't trying to be so cool that you just end up feeling ripped off! I'll definetly be back guys, thanks for the memorable night. Keep doing what your doing, it works!

There should be a seperate catergory for "FUN TIMES" and the Hideout would get 5 stars hands down.
