 ust when you thought King Street West was getting wayyy too gentrified, a new pub with a sports bar feel is opening up to the advertising masses. No longer will the strip be plagued by LUX Lounge's "bachelor pad flavour" and sleezy individuals that you can barely deal with on the job, let alone after work.
The relaxed vibe aims to encourage locals and 9-5ers to adopt the spot as an post work day hang were you can socialize with plenty of big screens, throw back a few "pops" before you head home, and embrace workplace camaraderie. Let's just hope that the baseball caps, sweat pants and golf shirts keep regulated to Rogers Centre proximal bars. -E.J. |

I dropped by St.Louies on 720 King St West,as I walked through the doors I felt very welcomed by their manager Gregory, or maybe he was the Owner, he was very pleasant and excited to find out if I have ever dropped by before,if I worked or lived in the area or if I was just passing by.I was then seated and as I looked around it appeared the restaurant had just opened,as it appeared very clean and new,every seat had a great view of 1 or more 8 large screen TV,a very nice bar to the left,and a nice but small patio,my server was just as cheerful as the manager,she had just started but imformed me that this little diamond in the rough was in fact just under 1 year old,funny but as I always travel along King I have never noticed this place before Now.I have been to St.Louies at other locations but this was in my mind right on the edge of the entertainment district,a great place to come before or after the clubs or stop by after work. I order only ribs and wings when i come to St.Louies and had my meal 10 minutes later, the Ribs and Wings [wings could have been a little bigger] were excellent,as usually but the big difference was the manager as he made me decide this is the type of place I would want to come back to,keep up the great customer service you have my vote.

This place is a great place to hang out, drink and get some food! Not sure why some other people had a not so great time... but i personally love it! The staff is great and very accomodating, and the new menu is delicious! See you all there!

What is this? There were a number of reviews for this place not too long ago - oddly enough most were negative ones. Now there are none? Hmmmm....
I don't quite understand how there are no written public reviews but there are public ratings. 2 stars for "Average User Rating" but the other ratings are higher than 2? Is this the new math?
Food wasn't too bad. Service, atmosphere, value and seating left a lot to be desired. The place was extremely pretentious and I found the service very lacking. To quote a review that used to be posted on this page ?When will someone get it right??
It's unfortunate as the place has potential from a d?cor and location perspective. On the positive side, other places will benefit as the bar has been seriously lowered in my eyes and the eyes of others.
Would never go there again.
