5 Reader Reviews | I had an amazing time at Schmooze this past Saturday. What a great looking venue with hot music and amazing service. I was very impressed by how consistently everyone on staff treated us corteously and accommodated our party; they were super friendly. The drinks were cheap ($3.50 all night) and bottle service is pretty affordable as well. Getting the guestlist was pretty organized through the online site. Good crowd and loved every song that came on so we could bust a move! I was glad we took the party there and I'll definitely be heading back again soon!

Folks have already covered Shmooze's lackluster crowd, specials, and cheap drinks... so I just want to give a brief shout-out to the friendly, accommodating staff, and mention that if you're not remotely hip, there's a bit of action here for you here!
There's the slutburger of course (she works the main bar - when slutburgers are $5), and ladies with sheer topping, and the house beats here are monstrously great! Lots of nice fresh mixed peeps, chopped vibes and red-faced guys, and seasonally changing owners... I haven't figured out when the changeover is, but I've noticed that sometimes you get yummy management-esses, and sometimes you get dried cranberry-brained owners! Still the deal on 5-7 drinks is crazy enormous. Yum yum yum!

If you're looking for cheap drinks after work, this is the place to go. However, if you're Asian, good luck to you. It's totally obvious that the guys at the door allow line by-pass to the tall, thin, white females of Toronto. No questions asked. Obviously if you know these door guys, you're in too.
Overall, I like the environment on the inside. There's a mix of people in their late 20's to 30's. Unless you go early, 5pm on a Friday, you're pretty much stuck in line for at least an hour if not more.
