hala-Mar has been in operation for 19 years, way way before the area became so trendy. The façade is quite notable, a beautiful cascading mosaic of coloured pebbles stream over the doorway and windows. The innards of this Indian and Pakistani resto are just as handsome, with a pinched-fabric ceiling, hand carved screens and a teardrop table that seats eight.
