uilt in a structure with a history all of its own, Revival has become one of the most varied and constantly-revolving venues where Toronto’s coolest still come to soak in the sights, sounds and talent.
Located at the west-end of Little Italy, the former Baptist church is celebrating its fourth anniversary. With every passing year, it seems to present itself in a new fashion in order to keep people talking.
This year’s anniversary will put one of the worlds most recognized DJ’s at the decks of Revival’s music lounge. Dimitri from Paris will be spearheading the eventful night with his sounds of acid jazz and dance, topped off with that European charm that no other could pull off.
Since the beginning, Revival has provided a safe haven of good vibes to artists and dancers alike. It allows anyone who appreciates the arts, a chance to come together in rich surroundings. With a slogan of “Eat, drink, talk, listen” Revival does just that. While many would be surprised to find that it offers more than just generously-poured cocktails; Revival has a food menu!
It’s an eclectic venue that caters to the needs of both live acts and DJ’ed events, you also get the chance to mingle and experience both local and international artists. Over the years this space has seen its share of talent and celebrities. Jack Soul, Not By Choice, Cowboy Junkies, Chantal Kreviazuk just to name a few. The future king of late night, Conan O’Brian, had a very special meet and greet at Revival the week he took his show to Toronto. Furthermore, who can forget the almost legendary intimate performance by Black Eyed Peas, where good friend Justin Timberlake decided to join in the fun. To this day, I hear stories about that show.
